Official sources describe it as a look at Deku and Class 1-A as professional heroes eight years after graduating from U.A. High School. They do not confirm the specific claim that it contains a new Deku-and-Bakugo scene, so that detail should not be treated as verified without reading the chapter.
What the expanded finale adds
The manga’s original serialized ending is chapter 430. The final collected volume extends that endpoint with chapter 431, “More.” Shueisha’s contents list places “No. 431 More” at page 146, after “No. 430 My Hero Academia” at page 124, and describes “More” as a Kohei Horikoshi-drawn episode included at the end of the final volume. Shueisha’s series page and volume contents identify its place in the book.

The official anime site likewise distinguishes the two: it says the TV finale, episode No. 170, covered the story through Weekly Shonen Jump’s final serialized chapter, No. 430. The extra chapter is therefore an addition to the collected manga ending, not part of that original chapter boundary. The official anime announcement explains the distinction.
What “More” is about—and what is not confirmed
The official synopsis gives the broad premise: “More” follows Deku and the other members of Class 1-A farther into their lives as professional heroes, eight years after graduating from U.A. High School. It does not provide a scene-by-scene account.
#1 Best Overall
That means official announcements support the time jump and the class’s professional-hero status, but do not establish that the chapter reveals a particular new interaction between Deku and Bakugo. The official Shonen Jump+ listing identifies chapter 431 and its author, Kohei Horikoshi, but access to the chapter itself requires paid access. The chapter listing is not a substitute for checking the licensed chapter’s panels.
Where to find chapter 431
“More” is included in the final collected volume, volume 42. Edition details differ, so check the listing for the language and format you want rather than assuming the Japanese and English editions share the same publication data.
