Su familia confirmó el fallecimiento; días después, su hija Jessica relató que Galván sufrió un infarto tras un procedimiento renal y una sesión de quimioterapia. Ese detalle procede del testimonio posterior de su hija, no del comunicado inicial.
Quién fue Silvia Galván
Galván construyó una carrera como estilista y empresaria en el sector de la belleza. Su trabajo también llegó a la televisión: colaboró en programas como Hoy y se hizo conocida con el sobrenombre de “la estilista de las estrellas”. N+ informó sobre su trayectoria al dar a conocer su muerte.
La trayectoria de sus salones
El negocio de Galván creció desde Nuevo León hasta la Ciudad de México. El Financiero atribuyó las fechas históricas al sitio oficial de Silvia Galván Image Studio:
- 1985: abrió un estudio en San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León.
- 1998: llegó a Ciudad de México con su primer estudio en la colonia Condesa.
El Financiero publicó esos datos sobre la expansión del negocio.

Qué se informó sobre su enfermedad y su muerte
El 4 de marzo de 2025, sus hijas comunicaron, según Las Estrellas, que una cirugía delicada había revelado un cáncer y que Galván se encontraba en recuperación. Las notas periodísticas describieron la enfermedad como cáncer de estómago; esa información debe entenderse como atribuida a lo comunicado por la familia y a la cobertura de prensa.
El 16 de abril, N+ informó que la familia había confirmado su muerte a los 70 años. El comunicado inicial confirmó el fallecimiento, pero no indicó una causa específica, según Univision.
