Believe was named as distribution partner in that launch announcement. The labels grew out of distinct projects in samba, live performance and concert music.
What MSK Records announced in 2022
Musickeria introduced MSK Records as its recorded-music arm in April 2022, with distribution by Believe. The launch coverage described an initial slate planned for that year, involving Diogo Nogueira, Orquestra Ouro Preto, Baby do Brasil and Pepeu Gomes. Those were plans announced at launch; the coverage does not establish that every project was later released. Folha’s April 2022 launch report

These descriptions reflect the labels’ origins and plans as reported at launch, not a complete account of their current catalogs. POPLine’s April 2022 article on the four imprints
How the imprints differ
Sambabook: recordings rooted in samba
Sambabook was dedicated to new recordings connected to samba and its composers. POPLine described its beginnings as a João Nogueira tribute and noted later editions associated with Martinho da Vila, Zeca Pagodinho, Dona Ivone Lara and Jorge Aragão. At the time of that April 2022 article, POPLine reported that five editions had involved more than 100 artists and 125 new recordings. Those figures describe Sambabook as reported then, not MSK Records as a whole.

Noites Cariocas Discos: recordings tied to a live event

Orquestra Ouro Preto: concert music with a new-audience ambition
The imprint was formed with Orquestra Ouro Preto. Launch coverage presented the collaboration as an effort to bring new audiences to concert music. It did not set out a complete catalog or specify the recording methods for every project.

Blue Stage: performances captured at Blue Note São Paulo

That production detail applies to those described recordings; it should not be assumed to cover every later Blue Stage release.
What the Believe partnership does—and does not—establish
Believe was identified as MSK Records’ distribution partner in the April 2022 launch announcement. A later report, published in 2026 about “Toccata” by KVSH and Orquestra Ouro Preto, names oneRPM as distributor for that track. This later release-specific reference does not establish whether Believe’s relationship with MSK ended, changed scope or continued for other releases. It is not accurate to treat the 2022 announcement as proof that Believe distributes all current MSK releases. The 2026 report on “Toccata”
