When did the new schedule start?
MS NOW said on March 18 that the changes would begin in June 2026. On June 15, the network announced that its new weekday lineup had debuted and included The 11th Hour with Ali Velshi. That launch announcement confirms the new slate was in place by June 15; it does not establish that no subsequent schedule changes have occurred.

The schedule information available in the network’s captured page listing did not reliably establish every current program hour, so the 6–9 a.m. and 11 p.m. times here are the announced lineup details rather than a claim about any later revision.

How MS NOW explained the change
MS NOW characterized the shorter Morning Joe schedule as the show’s choice and connected it to the program’s future across digital platforms. In its March announcement, the network said viewership in the 9 a.m. hour had increased 20%; it did not specify the measurement period in the announcement. That figure is the network’s claim, not an independently verified audience measurement.
The release also said: “This shift allows the team to build for the future and further expand across nonlinear platforms, playing a significant role in MS NOW’s upcoming direct-to-consumer membership product launch.” This was wording in the network’s press release, not a named-person quote. MS NOW/VERSANT also cited more than 3.8 billion YouTube views and over 140 million audio downloads for 2025 as part of its digital-platform rationale; those are company-reported figures.
