Wendi Richter, Chyna, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch stand out for very different reasons: each made her WWE presentation easy to recognize and closely tied it to a distinct character. This is an editorial selection, not an official WWE ranking or a judgment of attractiveness. Here, “visually striking” means a memorable silhouette, gear and color choices, entrance presentation, character clarity and staying power across changing eras.
What makes a WWE presentation memorable?
A wrestler’s look works as part of a larger performance: gear, movement, entrance, camera framing and persona all help an audience understand who has arrived. The strongest examples are not simply fashionable; their presentation gives the character a visual identity that can register quickly and remain recognizable in a crowded arena or on screen.
Comparisons across WWE history need room for different conventions. The company’s women’s championship lineage dates to 1965, and WWE describes the division as having evolved over time. A presentation that made sense in one period should not be measured against a single standard drawn from another. WWE’s own profiles and retrospectives are valuable records of the company’s history, but they also reflect its promotional perspective.
Four distinctive visual identities
Wendi Richter: pop energy and 1980s visibility
Richter’s place in WWE history is linked to the colorful pop-culture crossover of the 1980s. WWE credits her with helping bring about the Rock ’n’ Wrestling Connection and notes her association with Cyndi Lauper and MTV. That context makes her a useful example of a presentation built for a larger entertainment moment: energetic, vivid and legible beyond the ring.

Her significance here is not a claim that one particular outfit outranks another. It is the way her star image connected wrestling to music and television, giving her a recognizable place in a broader pop-culture scene. WWE’s Wendi Richter profile provides its account of that history.
Chyna: an imposing silhouette and a character that challenged expectations
Chyna’s visual impact began with a commanding presence. WWE presents her as an enforcer in D-Generation X and recalls the “Ninth Wonder of the World” persona. The combination made her appearance part of the character’s story: she was framed as a powerful disruptor who could stand apart from the division’s familiar expectations.
Her career milestones provide context, not a score for visual impact. WWE’s profile records her Women’s Championship achievement as well as her Intercontinental Championship milestones. Those accomplishments matter because they show how her presentation was carried into prominent roles, but they do not make a title count a measure of memorability. WWE’s Chyna profile recounts her career and character.

Trish Stratus: polished presentation that evolved with the performer
Stratus is a strong example of a visual identity that changed as her role changed. WWE’s retrospective traces her move from manager to competitor and champion. The polished star image associated with her early presentation became part of a broader story of growth in the ring, rather than a fixed look disconnected from her work.

WWE credits Stratus with seven Women’s Championship reigns and records her Hall of Fame induction. Those achievements help explain her lasting prominence, but the visual distinction comes from the evolution: audiences could recognize the star while seeing her role expand. WWE’s retrospective also attributes the line “She has the drive of a champion” to Tensai, described there as Stratus’s “onetime charge.” Her WWE profile and the company’s retrospective cover that career arc.
Becky Lynch: attitude expressed through character
Lynch’s presentation is character-led: the look and attitude work together to communicate a self-assured, combative persona. Her prominence also belongs to a modern era in which women’s matches took on central roles in major events. WWE records her 2019 Royal Rumble victory and identifies the first women’s WrestleMania main event among her milestones.

- WWE action figures bring fan-favorite Superstars to life in 6-inch scale!
- Each figure is detailed with TrueFX technology for a life-like face and added collectability!
- Fans can recreate signature moves with 14 points of articulation for dynamic posing!
- Reenact favorite WWE Main Event matches or create new rivalries and moves for play and display!

That history helps place her visual identity in context without treating achievement as proof of a particular aesthetic ranking. Her distinction lies in how clearly the presentation signals the character and how it carries across high-profile moments. WWE’s Becky Lynch profile outlines those milestones.
How the four presentations differ
These examples are best compared by the job each look performs, rather than by a single ideal of beauty or a contest over who had the most elaborate gear.
| Wrestler | Visual emphasis | What the presentation communicates | Historical context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wendi Richter | Colorful, energetic star image | Pop-culture visibility and an accessible, high-energy presence | WWE links her to the Rock ’n’ Wrestling Connection, Cyndi Lauper and MTV. |
| Chyna | Imposing silhouette and power | An enforcer whose presence challenged expectations | WWE places her in D-Generation X and documents championship milestones. |
| Trish Stratus | Polished image that developed over time | A recognizable star evolving into a successful competitor | WWE recounts her move from manager to champion and Hall of Famer. |
| Becky Lynch | Character-first attitude | A distinct persona suited to modern main-event prominence | WWE records her 2019 Royal Rumble win and the first women’s WrestleMania main event. |
The comparison reflects editorial interpretation of WWE’s historical accounts, not a measured audience poll or an official company ranking. WWE’s descriptions establish career context; they do not quantify visual impact.

Why the era matters
WWE’s women’s division has not had one unchanging visual style. The company dates the championship lineage to 1965; its 2016 announcement characterized Fabulous Moolah’s first reign as lasting 28 years, while WWE’s historical title page describes it as nearly three decades. Those figures are WWE’s own historical framing, and the lineage should be read in the context of the era and title history rather than treated as a measure of presentation.
That long span helps explain why a cross-era selection should include different kinds of distinction. Richter’s connection to 1980s pop culture, Chyna’s forceful character concept, Stratus’s evolution and Lynch’s modern persona are not variations on one ideal. Each makes sense in its own period and in relation to the character WWE was presenting.

Where to revisit their entrances and matches
WWE’s territory-specific watch guide can help locate programming. Availability depends on territory and may change. In the United States, WWE announced on January 6, 2026, that Netflix became the home for its library, including Premium Live Events from before September 2025 and selected other programming; that announcement does not mean every title is available in every region or at all times. Check the relevant program and territory in the guide before planning a viewing.
For collectors, WWE’s official store identifies action figures and collectibles among its merchandise, and it has a women’s merchandise category. Searching for “WWE women’s wrestler action figures” is a practical starting point, but listings and stock change; verify the specific figure and its availability before buying. See the WWE Shop.
