Those times refer to the trailer promotion, not a theatrical screening of the film. The countdown is a past event; it should not be mistaken for a live countdown currently in progress.
What was the countdown promoting?
The event promoted Mortal Kombat II, a New Line Cinema sequel based on the video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The official film synopsis brings Johnny Cage into the story alongside the returning champions as they face Shao Kahn’s rule. Karl Urban plays Cage, and Simon McQuoid returns as director.
