Monument Valley 3 is a puzzle adventure starring Noor, an apprentice searching for a new source of power as the light fades from her world. It first launched through Netflix Games on mobile in December 2024; ustwo games later announced versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam in July 2025. Its perspective puzzles and voyage across rising waters extend the series’ familiar visual premise, though official descriptions alone cannot substantiate a first-person verdict such as “Blew Me Away.”
What is Monument Valley 3 about?
Developed and published by ustwo games, Monument Valley 3 is a new story in the Monument Valley series. Noor is an apprentice who discovers that the world’s light is fading and sets out to find a new source of power. Netflix’s synopsis adds a community dimension: Noor must bring a village together and guide it to a new home. (Netflix Media Center; ustwo games)
How do the puzzles and journey work?
The central interaction is with the environment: players touch, rotate, and manipulate architecture to reveal hidden paths and solve perspective puzzles. The game also takes Noor sailing across rising waters, setting the architectural challenges within a broader journey through the world. Xbox’s listing likewise describes perspective manipulation, shifting structures, boat travel, temples, and ruins. That phrase is a personal review judgment, not a fact demonstrated by a game description. The official sources establish the premise, broad mechanics, and platform announcements, but they do not document a player’s experience, a completed playthrough, or a critical consensus. A genuine first-person review would need to be grounded in the author’s own time with the game.

At Netflix’s August 20, 2024 announcement, Game Director Jennifer Estaris described the series as exploring minimalist design, simple play, and emotional interactive storytelling. She said the Netflix partnership was intended to bring the game to “hundreds of millions” of players around the world as part of their memberships. That was a statement about the partnership’s intended reach, not a measured count of Monument Valley 3 players. (About Netflix)
