Spoilers for MobLand Season 1, Episode 9 and later episodes. “Beggars Banquet” ends with Conrad exposing Maeve as the family mole just as police arrive and arrest them both on suspicion of murder. The episode leaves their immediate fate unresolved. Later season coverage shows that the arrest is not their lasting end state, but Episode 9 does not explain how they get there.
What happens at the end of MobLand Episode 9?
Episode 9, “Beggars Banquet,” turns a strained Harrigan family dinner into an open confrontation. Maeve needles those around her, including Seraphina, and her conflict with Conrad becomes physical: she breaks a bottle and faces him with its jagged edge.

Conrad then names Maeve as the family’s true mole, acting on information Eddie gave him earlier. Their maneuvering for influence is no longer covert or deniable; the family sees their distrust laid bare.
Police arrive at the property and arrest both Conrad and Maeve on suspicion of murder. The final image is the dining room washed in a police helicopter’s searchlight. The visual suggests the family’s private world has been exposed and invaded, though the episode does not confirm a specific meaning for the image.

What will happen to Conrad and Maeve after the arrest?
Episode 9 does not show what the arrest means for either character, so it cannot answer whether they will remain in custody or what legal consequences they face. The story continues: Episode 10, “The Beast in Me,” is the Season 1 finale, and current Season 2 coverage reports Conrad and Maeve active outside prison.
That later status means the arrest is not their lasting end state. The available coverage does not establish every intervening legal or plot step, so it would be misleading to treat Episode 9 itself as explaining how they get out or what happens next in detail.

The dinner is a turning point because both characters make their distrust visible to the family. Conrad publicly identifies Maeve as the mole; Maeve’s threat with the broken bottle makes their conflict immediate and physical. Their arrests suspend that contest, but leave open the larger question of who will control the Harrigans.
