Does Season 3 still deliver?
For viewers who come for the show’s power struggles and large cast, there is still plenty to engage with. The story continues the contest for control of Mirzapur among Guddu, Golu, Sharad, Madhuri and other players, with alliances and political and criminal interests shifting around them. The official episode summaries establish that broad conflict without requiring a spoiler-heavy account of late-season turns.
The difficulty is focus. One independent review describes long, repetitive story tracks and argues that the series has lost some of its novelty. Scroll.in’s search-result excerpt characterizes the plotting as “Byzantine” and the deal-making as “dizzying,” and refers to an increased kill count; the full page was not accessible, so that excerpt is limited corroboration rather than a basis for detailed claims about the review. Together, these assessments capture the season’s risk: too many moving parts can make a succession of power plays feel like complication for its own sake.

The violence also escalates the spectacle without always strengthening the dramatic consequences. The title’s “higher kill count” is review language, not a verified episode-by-episode statistic. For some viewers, the brutality remains part of the series’ appeal; for others, repeated shocks may feel less affecting when the surrounding character arcs and plot do not gain equal clarity.

Amazon’s own review emphasizes the continuing power struggle, ensemble cast, action, dialogue and production craft. Those are real counterweights to the pacing concerns, but Amazon is promoting its series, so its praise should be read as a first-party assessment rather than independent consensus.

These are platform-reported figures, and the announcement excerpt does not define how much viewing counted toward the pin-code claim. They indicate broad reported reach, not whether viewers liked the season.
