Including Enola Holmes 3, released in 2026, Millie Bobby Brown has seven feature films in this filmography. Ranked from strongest to weakest overall, they are: Enola Holmes, Enola Holmes 2, Damsel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, Enola Holmes 3, and The Electric State. This is an editorial ranking, not a claim about box office or a fixed critics’ consensus.

The order weighs Brown’s role and performance, character agency, story and craft, and how well each film uses her screen presence. Her Enola films put her at the center as a detective; the two Godzilla entries are ensemble films in which she plays Madison Russell.

Millie Bobby Brown movies ranked

  1. Enola Holmes (2020)

Brown’s first outing as Sherlock Holmes’s younger sister is the clearest showcase for her as a movie lead. When Enola’s mother disappears, she sets out to find her, turning a family mystery into an adventure driven by Enola’s resourcefulness. The film’s direct address gives Brown room to establish a spirited, self-directed heroine rather than simply orbiting the more famous Holmes name. Netflix describes it as an adaptation of Nancy Springer’s young adult detective series (Netflix Tudum).

  2. Enola Holmes 2 (2022)

The sequel gives Enola a new position and a harder case: after opening her own detective agency, she takes on a missing-person investigation that grows into a wider conspiracy. That premise lets the film develop her as a working detective, not just a runaway solving her own family problem. It ranks just below the first because the original’s introduction to the character is more distinctive, though Brown remains its energetic center. AP reviewer Jake Coyle described the first two films as charting Brown’s evolution from child actor to movie star and noted their delight in her fourth-wall breaks (Associated Press).

  3. Damsel (2024)

As Princess Elodie, Brown leads a fantasy built around a heroine forced to survive a perilous situation rather than wait to be rescued. Its appeal rests on her physical commitment and the character’s practical grit. It does not have the same investigative spark as the Enola films, but it gives Brown a substantial role and a clear arc. Rotten Tomatoes’ filmography credits Brown as both actor and executive producer on the film (Rotten Tomatoes).

  4. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

Brown’s feature-film debut is as Madison Russell, a child caught up in a world-shaking monster conflict. The scale belongs to the ensemble and the spectacle, so she has less control over the film’s direction than she does in her later lead roles. Still, Madison gives the story a human point of entry, and the film marks the beginning of Brown’s feature-film career.

  5. Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Brown returns as Madison, now part of a larger clash between two iconic creatures. The film’s main draw is its monster confrontation, leaving less room for her character than the Enola and Damsel roles offer. It earns a place above the final two for its straightforward blockbuster momentum, but it is not the most revealing showcase for Brown.

  6. Enola Holmes 3 (2026)

Brown returns as Enola in the third chapter of the detective series. Jake Coyle of the Associated Press called it “spirited and fleet of foot” and praised that it “doesn’t take itself too seriously.” That is a useful description of its light-footed approach, though this ranking places it below the first two entries, which establish and then expand Enola’s world. Brown is again credited as a producer as well as the star (Rotten Tomatoes).

  7. The Electric State (2025)

Brown plays Michelle in this science-fiction feature. It is the least compelling entry in this ranking as a showcase for her: the film’s broad premise and scale leave less space for the specific qualities that make her strongest work, especially the quick wit and agency she brings to Enola. The role expands her filmography, but it is not as focused a vehicle for her as the films above.

Why this list counts seven films

The original six-film cutoff ended with The Electric State in 2025. Rotten Tomatoes’ filmography, accessed October 8, 2026, also lists Enola Holmes 3 (2026), so a current list of released feature films needs to include it. The same filmography identifies Brown’s roles as Madison Russell in the Godzilla films, Enola Holmes in all three Enola films, Princess Elodie in Damsel, and Michelle in The Electric State (Rotten Tomatoes).

Where to go after the Enola films

The films adapt Nancy Springer’s young adult detective series. Readers who want to follow Enola’s cases beyond the screen can look for Springer’s books; the films and books are related adaptations, not interchangeable versions of the story (Netflix Tudum).
