Las primeras noticias, publicadas antes de conocerse ese resultado, describían una causa todavía desconocida.

Brandão fue una actriz infantil brasileña que participó en la serie de Netflix Sintonia y en producciones de SBT, entre ellas A Infância de Romeu e Julieta. El Universal también la relacionó con A Caverna Encantada. La información disponible no permite ampliar con seguridad esa lista de trabajos.
Qué se sabe sobre su muerte
El Hospital Geral do Grajaú informó que el fallecimiento se constató a las 16:55 del viernes 2 de mayo de 2025, tras confirmarse la muerte encefálica. CNN Brasil reprodujo la nota hospitalaria en su cobertura de ese día: CNN Brasil, 2 de mayo de 2025.
En una publicación posterior, del 25 de julio de 2025, CNN Brasil informó que el informe pericial atribuyó la muerte a un absceso cerebral, una acumulación de pus asociada a una infección. La nota no esclareció el origen de la infección ni presentó el informe completo. Por eso, no debe confundirse la masa descrita en las primeras noticias con un tumor: el resultado pericial comunicado posteriormente señaló un absceso cerebral, no un tumor. Qué contaron los primeros reportes
Las noticias iniciales se basaron principalmente en declaraciones de la familia, no en un expediente clínico público. Según el relato de su madre reproducido por medios, los síntomas empezaron a finales de abril e incluyeron dolor de cabeza y de pierna, somnolencia y falta de apetito. Los reportes también describieron una tomografía que mostró una masa de unos cinco centímetros.
La cifra de paros cardíacos varió según el momento de publicación: CNN Brasil informó el 2 de mayo que la madre había comunicado 12 hasta entonces; medios posteriores recogieron un total de 13. Por tanto, la cifra de 13 debe entenderse como parte del relato familiar difundido por la prensa, no como un recuento hospitalario independiente. Por qué las noticias iniciales y posteriores difieren
La cobertura de mayo reflejó lo que se sabía entonces: el fallecimiento, la confirmación de muerte encefálica y las declaraciones familiares sobre el curso de la enfermedad. El resultado pericial se comunicó en julio y aportó una causa —el absceso cerebral— que no estaba establecida en los primeros reportes. La fecha y el tipo de información importan: los síntomas y los paros fueron relatados por la familia, mientras que la causa posterior se atribuyó al informe pericial según CNN Brasil.
Las fuentes citadas no incluyen el informe pericial íntegro, la historia clínica ni una resolución judicial definitiva. No permiten establecer qué originó la infección ni concluir que hubo negligencia médica. Las declaraciones familiares sobre la atención recibida deben leerse como testimonios, no como conclusiones médicas o legales independientes.
