Miley Cyrus wore a sheer black dress over a matching black thong when she arrived at her New York hotel on June 4, 2025, during promotion for her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful. W Magazine identified the dress as a Ludovic de Saint Sernin design from the designer’s spring 2025 collection.
What Miley Cyrus wore
The floor-length black dress was fully sheer, with fine spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline and a close, slinky silhouette. W Magazine reported that Cyrus wore it without a bra, with a minimal black thong underneath. She also wore strappy black sandal heels and a gold necklace; coverage differs on some accessory details, so those are less certain than the dress and thong.

Cyrus arrived at her hotel in New York City on the evening of June 4, 2025. It was a hotel arrival during a day of album promotion, not a red-carpet appearance. ELLE reported that she had spent the day signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
Who designed the dress?
W Magazine attributed the dress to Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s spring 2025 collection. That identification comes from the magazine’s fashion coverage; the sources reporting on the outfit did not include a direct confirmation from Cyrus or the designer.
