Actress Milana Vayntrub’s two fundraising campaigns reportedly raised more than $500,000 for people affected by the Los Angeles-area fires. Donations were connected to exclusive, flirty photos: the first campaign supported a family whose home was lost in a wildfire, and a later campaign raised money for Altadena group My Tribe Rise. The totals are reported by Vayntrub and Only Philanthropy; the available sources do not establish an independent audit or exact net payout.
How much did Milana Vayntrub raise?
Only Philanthropy says the two campaigns raised over $500,000 for Altadena fire victims. The reported campaign figures—$170,000 for the first effort and $350,000 for the later one—add up to $520,000, consistent with the organization’s description of the combined total as more than $500,000. Those figures are reported amounts, not an independently verified accounting of funds distributed.
Vayntrub is widely known for playing Lily Adams in AT&T commercials. The fundraiser was her effort; the coverage does not identify AT&T as its sponsor or operator.
How the two campaigns worked
| Campaign | Mechanism and recipient | Reported result |
|---|---|---|
| First campaign, early 2025 | Donations to a GoFundMe for a single mother and her family after a wildfire destroyed their home, connected to exclusive photos offered by Vayntrub. | Vayntrub said it raised $170,000 in four days. |
| Later campaign, summer 2025 | Donations benefiting My Tribe Rise, an Altadena organization described as providing direct grants to fire survivors, again connected to exclusive photos. | TVLine and Us Magazine reported $350,000 raised in a week. |
The first round: help for one family
Vayntrub described the first campaign as a way to direct money to a single mother’s GoFundMe. Us Magazine quoted her saying, “We raised $170,000. $170K in 4 days.” The beneficiary is identified in coverage as Bridget.

According to Us Magazine, Vayntrub said the funds helped replace medical equipment, clothing and a car, and paid for a year of housing. That support enabled Bridget’s disabled son to resume in-home medical care. Parade later quoted Bridget saying, “It was the first time in a long time I felt seen. Like someone actually cared that we were still here, still fighting.”
The second round: grants through My Tribe Rise
The later campaign was for My Tribe Rise, an Altadena organization. TVLine reported that the effort raised $350,000 for direct grants to fire survivors. Us Magazine quoted Vayntrub describing the group’s work as helping elderly, disabled and underinsured survivors rebuild.

Why Vayntrub tied photos to donations
Vayntrub framed the campaign as an experiment in turning public attention into practical aid. TVLine quoted her saying, “After the LA fires this year, I saw that what people really needed was some cash.” She then asked whether she and her followers could team up to help those affected.
Coverage characterizes the images as exclusive, flirty or boudoir-style photos. The fundraising story is about donations linked to those images, not a conventional retail purchase or an AT&T promotion. TMZ reported that Vayntrub said the offer started at $69 per photo; that is an interview-reported detail, not a verified price schedule.

What is known—and what the total does not prove
Only Philanthropy’s homepage states, “In just two campaigns Only Philanthropy raised over $500,000 for Altadena fire victims.” TVLine and Us Magazine reported the two component figures in December 2025. Together, they support the headline total, but they do not provide a full financial reconciliation.
- The published figures are reported campaign totals, not evidence of an independent audit.
- The available accounts do not establish exact net proceeds after any costs or the precise amount ultimately received by beneficiaries.
- Descriptions of the family’s support and My Tribe Rise grants are attributed to Vayntrub and the reporting outlets; the cited coverage does not offer a separate accounting for each distribution.
Vayntrub’s fundraising attracted attention partly because it repurposed an online audience and images that news coverage described as risqué or flirty toward a direct charitable appeal. The documented results are the reported totals and recipient descriptions above; claims beyond those should be treated cautiously.
