A 2019 follow-up reported that she had arrived and found modeling work; a 2024 interview later described her continuing modeling career. Those dated reports do not establish where she lives or what projects she is pursuing today.
Who was Mila Mary when she announced the move?
PerthNow reported on 12 August 2018 that Mary was a 17-year-old student from Cottesloe, Perth, preparing to relocate to Los Angeles in January 2019. She had already been scouted and signed by Chadwick Models, and the report said she had worked for Gucci, Zhivago, David Jones and Ae’lkemi. She had also trained with acting coach Ali Roberts. PerthNow’s 2018 report framed the move as a step toward acting, not a departure from modeling.
Mary told PerthNow that agency representatives had encountered her videos during an acting tour in Los Angeles in 2014: “I was in LA in 2014 for an acting tour and they saw some of my videos and wanted to sign me, and I was so excited — I couldn’t believe it.” The article said she had signed with US talent agency Paradigm. She planned to live with fellow Perth actor Holly J Barret, though that was an arrangement she intended at the time, not evidence of a later or ongoing living situation.
What happened after she arrived in Los Angeles?
In a follow-up published on 2 February 2019, The West Australian reported that Mary had landed in Los Angeles about two weeks earlier. It said she had secured modeling work and representation with TWO Management in Los Angeles, and that acting auditions were also in her plans. The report documents an early stage of the move; it does not establish the outcome of those auditions or the length of her stay. The West Australian’s February 2019 follow-up is the source for those arrival details.

What did Mary say about modeling later?
A 7 November 2024 interview with WITH HARPER LU described Mary as an international model temporarily back from the United States. She said she had modeled for 10 years and had been scouted at her first job when she was 13: “I’ve been modelling for 10 years. Something people may not know about modelling is that you can model for longer than most people think. I was scouted at my first job when I was 13 and I’ve been with the same agent ever since.” The interview does not name that agent or establish her current location. Read the WITH HARPER LU interview.

The available reporting establishes a sequence of dated milestones, not a current biography: an announced move in 2018, an arrival and early work reported in 2019, and a modeling interview in 2024. A Two Management roster page lists Mary in its Los Angeles women section, but a roster listing alone cannot confirm her present residence, representation, or active acting projects. Two Management’s women roster should therefore be read as a listing, not proof of her current status as of 8 October 2026.
