When did Cera and Nadine marry?
Us Weekly reported on March 12, 2018, that Cera and Nadine were married, citing an unnamed source and noting that they had been seen together in Brooklyn wearing wedding bands. The report said Cera had worn a band since at least January 2017, but that the exact dates they began dating and married were unclear. Yes. Plaza said she and Cera dated for about a year and a half after making Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. In a 2016 interview on What’s the Tee?, as reported by Us Weekly, she recalled that they drove across the country after filming and “almost got married in Vegas.” Plaza also said they remained close friends after the relationship, adding, “We love each other. Was the Las Vegas marriage a formal engagement?
The available accounts do not establish a formal engagement. Plaza described them as having nearly married in Las Vegas, while Cera later characterized the Vegas idea as a joke, including the possibility of calling each other ex-spouses. Parade’s 2025 account discusses the story; it should not be recast as a confirmed wedding plan or engagement.
