In September 2024, Australian actress Melissa George shared rare photos with her six-month-old son, Lyor Gatsby, during a stay at Château d’Estoublon in Provence. A PerthNow report said George’s friend Kirstie Clements, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia, joined them. Lyor was born in March 2024; the six-month-old description refers to the photos’ 2024 context, not his age today.
What the 2024 photos showed
PerthNow reported on 21 September 2024 that George had shared the images from her stay at Château d’Estoublon, an estate in Provence. Clements was pictured with George and Lyor during the visit. PerthNow’s original report reproduced George’s personal Instagram description of the experience: “No words to explain this incredible experience where a domain or estate decides to make the entire place for one family at a time,”
Who is Lyor Gatsby?
Lyor Gatsby is Melissa George’s son, born in March 2024, according to the 2024 PerthNow story. At the time of that report, the child’s father had not been publicly identified. The report does not establish his identity, and no speculation is warranted.
What later reports said about George’s family
This photo story is separate from news published on 6 July 2026 that George had welcomed a fourth child. The New Daily reported that the newborn’s name and date of birth had not been made public; PerthNow’s later report said the child’s name and father had not been revealed. Neither report identifies the father. The New Daily’s 6 July 2026 report and PerthNow’s report from the same date concern that later family update, not the Provence photos.
