First Lady Melania Trump received the White House’s 2025 Christmas tree on November 24, 2025. The concolor fir came from a family farm in Sidney, Michigan, arrived by horse-drawn carriage and was designated for the Blue Room.
When and where did the tree arrive?
The White House gallery dates the arrival to Monday, November 24, 2025. The tree was brought to the North Portico, where Trump received it. The Associated Press reported that Clydesdales Logan and Ben pulled the horse-drawn carriage and quoted Trump saying, “It’s a beautiful tree.”
What kind of tree was it, and where did it come from?
The White House later identified the tree as an 18-foot concolor fir from Sidney, Michigan. The Associated Press reported its height as 18 1/2 feet; the figures differ, so the official White House description is used here. The tree came from the Korson family’s farm. The White House tour book says the family received the National Christmas Tree Association’s National Grand Champion Grower 2025 distinction and presented the tree just before Thanksgiving.
Where was the tree displayed?
The tree was designated for the Blue Room. Its arrival began the season’s decorating process; the White House’s later description of the finished display is separate from the November arrival.
