As Ever sells a changing mix of pantry goods, gifts, candles and wine—not just jam. Published reviewers have praised some of its fruit spreads and baking products, while finding the marmalade less assertive than they prefer. Because no first-hand tasting is established here, this is a reported review: the impressions below belong to the named reviewers, not the writer.
What does Meghan Markle’s As Ever sell?
As Ever’s official account ties the brand to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and her stated interests in cooking, entertaining and hostessing. It says she made jams, preserves and fruit spreads for friends and family before deciding to offer products more broadly. That is the brand’s account of its origins, not an independently verified manufacturing history. As Ever’s About page also attributes the line “Starting my day with your jam makes me feel happy” to feedback Meghan says she heard from loved ones; it is not the result of a documented customer survey.
The range has expanded since its 2025 launch. The official storefront, as observed on October 8, 2026, featured seasonal holiday goods, gift baskets, an advent calendar, chocolate-covered fruit, candles, pantry items, teas, honey, spreads and wine. Its bestseller section listed Flower Sprinkles at $15, Orange Marmalade and Raspberry Spread at $12 each, a Signature Fruit Spread Gift Box at $42, and Signature Candle No. 084 at $64. These are time-sensitive storefront listings, not guaranteed prices or stock; check the official store for current details.
The original collection was much narrower: an As Ever announcement dated March 4, 2025 described eight products: raspberry spread; lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus herbal teas; flower sprinkles; crêpe mix; shortbread cookie mix with sprinkles; and limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb. That launch announcement described the collection as developed in partnership with Netflix and planned for availability across the 50 U.S. states. It does not establish today’s assortment, current shipping coverage or the present status of the Netflix relationship.

What did published reviewers think of the food?
Fruit spreads and marmalade
In a November 9, 2025 Good Housekeeping review, Susan Choung called a strawberry, raspberry and orange marmalade trio a surprise favorite. She described the berry spreads as bright and juicy, but wanted the marmalade to have more pronounced rind and bitterness. That distinction matters if you like a sweeter, fruit-forward marmalade less than a bold, bitter one.
A Marie Claire launch-era taste test was favorable toward the raspberry spread, including on vanilla ice cream. The article reported a 7.6-ounce keepsake jar at $14 in its 2025 context. It also quoted customers with different preferences: one found the spread between sweet and tart, while another wanted more tartness and a larger jar. Those reactions suggest a matter of taste, not a single consensus on the spread.

Tea, baking mixes and sprinkles
Marie Claire’s author also gave favorable impressions of the shortbread cookies and lemon ginger tea. In an August 29, 2025 Good Housekeeping review, Choung tasted flower sprinkles, crêpe mix and peppermint tea alongside other products. The published impressions are specific to that reviewer and tasting; they do not establish that every buyer will prefer the flavors or that current products match the versions reviewed.
Rosé
Choung’s August 2025 Good Housekeeping review also covered the 2023 Napa Valley rosé, which it listed at 13.5% ABV. The reviewer found it more structured and full-bodied than a light Provence-style rosé. That alcohol figure applies to the 2023 vintage cited in the review, not every As Ever wine. The review reported that a newer 2024 vintage was then sold only in bundles: $90 for three bottles, $159 for six, or $300 for twelve. Those are historical 2025 observations, not current pricing or availability.

Are the launch prices still useful?
Only as historical context. The April 2, 2025 launch pricing announcement listed suggested retail prices of $14 for raspberry spread in keepsake packaging, with a non-keepsake version planned at $9; $12 for teas; $15 for flower sprinkles; $14 each for crêpe mix and shortbread mix; and $28 for limited-edition honey. These dated suggested prices differ from later storefront observations, and neither set should be treated as a current quote. Product assortment, stock and displayed prices can change.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who might enjoy As Ever products?
The published reviews point to a range designed as much for presentation and hosting as for everyday pantry use. A spread or gift box may appeal if keepsake packaging and a polished gift matter to you; the berry spreads may suit someone who prefers bright fruit flavors. If you specifically want a sharply tart spread or bitter, rind-forward marmalade, the reviewers’ comments suggest checking the flavor description and deciding whether that profile is important before buying. For tea, baking mixes, candles or wine, consider the product’s intended use and the current listing rather than assuming the brand is only a jam line.

Meghan has described the name as reflecting longstanding interests: in a 2025 report, the Associated Press quoted her saying, “As Ever essentially means as it’s always been and if you followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening.” AP also quoted her saying, “I think we’re all clear at this point that jam is my jam.” Those remarks explain the brand’s lifestyle framing, but they are not evidence of product quality. The Associated Press report described Netflix as a business partner at that time; it does not establish the current relationship.
