Megan Thee Stallion hosted the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and took the stage for a medley that included “Boa” and “B.A.S.” Yuki Chiba joined her for “Mamushi.” The available event report does not confirm the complete set list, so it does not establish whether “Hiss” was performed.
What Megan Thee Stallion performed at the 2024 VMAs
Megan paused her hosting duties for a performance medley that included “Boa” and “B.A.S.” She then brought out Yuki Chiba for “Mamushi,” their collaboration. The event report confirms these songs but does not provide a complete, ordered set list; it therefore cannot verify “Hiss” as part of the performance. Billboard’s event report is the source for the performance details.

Event context and award results
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards took place September 11, 2024, at UBS Arena in Long Island, with Megan serving as both host and performer. MTV’s pre-show announcement described “Mamushi” as having surpassed 150 million global streams at that time; that is a dated figure, not a current total.
The stage appearance and award results were separate parts of the night. MTV’s official 2024 VMA winners list names “Mamushi” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Yuki Chiba as the Best Trending Video winner. “Boa” won Best Art Direction and was also listed among the Best Hip-Hop nominees.
#1 Best Overall
- Megan's 3rd Studio self-titled album MEGAN. Album features Glorilla, Victoria Monet, Kyle Ricch, and the reunion of UGK amongst others.
Where to watch the performance
The available reporting confirms what happened onstage but does not establish whether an authorized full replay is currently available or where it can be watched. Check MTV’s official channels for any posted performance video; availability may vary by territory and can change over time.
