The season premiered on September 17, 2024; Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson ultimately won, with Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten finishing as runners-up.
Who competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 33?
Each celebrity was paired with a professional dancer. The cast included Olympic and professional athletes, actors, reality-TV personalities and model Brooks Nader.
| Celebrity | Professional partner | Known for |
|---|---|---|
| Danny Amendola | Witney Carson | Former NFL wide receiver and two-time Super Bowl champion |
| Anna Delvey | Ezra Sosa | Subject of the Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna |
| Joey Graziadei | Jenna Johnson | Lead of The Bachelor Season 28 |
| Dwight Howard | Daniella Karagach | NBA champion and eight-time NBA All-Star, according to Disney’s cast biography |
| Chandler Kinney | Brandon Armstrong | Actor whose training included Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Los Angeles Ballet Academy, according to Disney’s biography |
| Ilona Maher | Alan Bersten | U.S. rugby sevens player and Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020 Olympian; Disney identified her as a Team USA bronze medalist |
| Brooks Nader | Gleb Savchenko | Model known for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit |
| Stephen Nedoroscik | Rylee Arnold | Olympic gymnast and pommel horse specialist |
| Phaedra Parks | Val Chmerkovskiy | Reality-TV personality known from The Real Housewives franchise |
| Eric Roberts | Britt Stewart | Film and television actor |
| Tori Spelling | Pasha Pashkov | Actor known for Beverly Hills, 90210 |
| Jenn Tran | Sasha Farber | Former lead of The Bachelorette |
| Reginald VelJohnson | Emma Slater | Actor known for Family Matters |
The roster’s range was part of its appeal: four contestants were prominent athletes, four were actors, four came from reality television, and Nader represented the modeling world. The backgrounds were not identical in dance experience; Disney’s biography specifically noted Kinney’s dance-academy training, but that is not evidence of comparable training for the full cast. Disney’s cast announcement introduced the celebrities and their professional partners.
Who won Season 33?
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson won the Mirrorball Trophy. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten finished second. The other couples in the top five were Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold, and Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, according to ABC Audio’s finale report.
