Matt and Jeff Hardy accepted a challenge on WWE NXT in February 2025 and appeared on the February 25 show. The challenge came from No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne—not from the NXT tag team champions they praised in their return appearance.
Who challenged the Hardy Boyz?
On the February 18, 2025, edition of NXT, Tavion Heights and Myles Borne of No Quarter Catch Crew confronted NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom, known as Fraxiom. Heights and Borne then named Matt and Jeff Hardy as the opponents they wanted. The Hardys accepted by video, and their match was announced for the following week in Cincinnati, according to ITR Wrestling’s February 19 report.
When did Matt and Jeff Hardy return to WWE?
Their return appearance was on the February 25, 2025, episode of NXT. WWE’s official video page, titled “The Hardy Boyz are back in WWE with something to prove,” says the brothers praised Fraxiom while making clear they considered themselves the best tag team in the world. WWE’s page confirms the appearance; it does not provide a full transcript of their remarks. Watch WWE’s February 25 NXT video.
Was there another Hardy-related NXT challenge in 2025?
Yes, but it was a separate later event, not the No Quarter Catch Crew challenge from February. WWE’s September 30, 2025, highlights describe the Hardys—then identified as TNA World Tag Team Champions—responding to DarkState’s Winner Take All Match challenge. See WWE’s September 30 highlights.
