It was a retrospective teaser, not a full trailer or a detailed plot reveal. The projects shown have since been released: Thunderbolts* opened in theaters in 2025, and Ironheart premiered on Disney+ that year.
What the anniversary teaser showed
Marvel officially posted the anniversary video on August 29, 2024. Its short previews included Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in footage from Daredevil: Born Again, as well as Thunderbolts*, Riri Williams in Ironheart, and Ford’s Red Hulk. The clip did not provide a scene-by-scene account or substantial plot details. Isaiah Colbert’s August 29, 2024, Gizmodo report also noted that an earlier version of the video had appeared and been deleted the previous week.
The video was framed as a celebration of Marvel’s 85-year history, moving between archival material featuring Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, footage from Marvel’s comics and screen adaptations, and glimpses of then-upcoming projects. Marvel’s post, as reproduced by Gizmodo, said: “Celebrating 85 years of Marvel, thanks to you, True Believers.”
What became of the three featured projects

Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk belongs to a separate story context

Keep that film context distinct from Red Hulk’s comics background: Marvel’s character guide identifies Red Hulk as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. The guide explains the character in comics continuity; it is not a detailed account of the film’s plot. See Marvel’s Red Hulk reading guide for comics background.
