BGR reported the trailer’s release on November 6, 2023, ahead of the film’s December 15, 2023 Apple TV+ premiere.
What happens in The Family Plan?
Wahlberg plays Dan Morgan, a husband, father of three and car salesman whose peaceful suburban life conceals a past as an elite government assassin. When enemies track him down, Dan packs his wife, teenage daughter, teenage son and 10-month-old baby into the family minivan and heads cross-country to Las Vegas.

The trip gives Dan a chance to protect his family while trying to keep his old identity secret. The trailer’s baby-in-the-middle-of-the-action hook comes from that contrast: assassin-level danger colliding with the practical chaos of traveling with young children.
Who stars in the film?
- Mark Wahlberg plays Dan Morgan.
- Michelle Monaghan plays Dan’s wife.
- The children are described in the synopsis as an angsty teenage daughter, a pro-gamer teenage son and an adorable 10-month-old baby; the BGR report does not name them.
