Em 16 de setembro de 2020, a POPLine informou que “Máquina do Tempo” ainda ocupava o primeiro lugar cinco dias depois da estreia. Naquele dia, quatro faixas do álbum permaneciam no Top 10. É uma fotografia do desempenho inicial, não uma indicação da posição atual das músicas.
Como o álbum foi apresentado ao público
A POPLine atribuiu a produção do disco a WIU, Pedro Lotto, Celo e ao próprio Matuê e registrou que ele foi lançado sem participações especiais. A divulgação também destacava a possibilidade de ouvir as músicas individualmente ou na sequência do álbum. Matuê disse à Midiorama em 2020: “É o meu primeiro disco, sabe? Tem uma importância, não só por isso, mas também pelo esforço que colocamos para fazer esse álbum acontecer. É minimalista, mas também tem um conceito central. As pessoas escolhem como querem ouvir a Máquina do Tempo”.
