March 15–16 refers to the 2025 edition of Mandurah Crab Fest, not the next event. The City of Mandurah lists the next festival for 13–14 March 2027. Crab Fest is a free regional festival celebrating Mandurah’s blue manna crab—also known as blue swimmer crab—with food, live entertainment and activities, alongside some separately ticketed experiences.
Which Crab Fest dates are current?
The dates in the original title match the 2025 program, held on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March. The 2026 festival took place on 14–15 March. The City of Mandurah’s current Crab Fest page lists the next edition for 13–14 March 2027. Check that page for updates rather than assuming an earlier year’s schedule or ticket details will carry forward.
What is Mandurah Crab Fest?
Crab Fest is a City of Mandurah-produced festival built around the region’s blue manna crab, also called blue swimmer crab. The event brings food stalls and cooking demonstrations together with live music, family activities and other entertainment. The City describes it as “WA’s biggest free regional festival”; that is the organiser’s description on its event page.
The City says the festival attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year. This is an organiser-published attendance figure, not an independently audited count; see the City’s participation information.

What was on the March 15–16, 2025 program?
The 2025 program distributed activities across several waterfront and town-centre locations. These are examples from that edition, not a confirmed preview of 2027.
Eastern Foreshore
The Eastern Foreshore hosted the Seaside Music Stage and cooking demonstrations, as well as family activities, games, crafts and interactive displays.
Western Foreshore
The Western Foreshore program featured skateboarding, BMX, trampolining, wakeboarding and motocross displays.
Boardwalk, Mandjar Square and Mandurah Ocean Marina
Activities at these locations included a children’s stage, hands-on activities and an education truck. The 2025 schedule also listed Saturday fireworks.

Smart Street Mall
Smart Street Mall’s 2025 activities included mini golf, street art and creative workshops, roving performers and sensory play.
Is Crab Fest free, or do activities require tickets?
General festival attendance was free in the 2025 program, while some experiences were ticketed separately. Examples that year included cruises, a crab workshop, beer yoga and other food-and-drink experiences. Their inclusion does not establish that they will return, or that their prices and availability will be the same in a future edition. Check the City’s current event information for ticketing details.
