Magic Men Australia’s two 2023 performances at Perth’s Metro City sold out, according to a contemporary review by PerthNow. Reporter Jessie Stoelwinder described a high-energy male revue built around themed routines, dancing, stage gymnastics and audience participation—and judged it fun and tongue-in-cheek as well as sexy. The reviewer’s closing assessment called the performance “fun, tongue-in-cheek, sexy and down-right impressive at times.” That mix is useful context for readers expecting a playful, audience-facing revue rather than a purely stage-only dance performance, but the judgment belongs to this review and should not be taken as a universal response.
Performer Jaxon Human told PerthNow during intermission: “It was 10 out of 10, the energy was amazing,” and added, “Because it’s a four-tier venue, it feels different to anything else we have done.” Those comments are Human’s reaction as quoted in the 2023 report.
