Its mix of military-android action and M3GAN’s sharp humor culminates in the line, “Hold on to your vaginas.”
Who is Amelia, the new killer robot?
The trailer’s synopsis places the story two years after M3GAN’s rampage and destruction. Gemma, played by Allison Williams, has become an author and advocate for government oversight of artificial intelligence, while Cady, played by Violet McGraw, is now 14.
A defense contractor has used stolen M3GAN technology to create Amelia, played by Ivanna Sakhno. The trailer describes her as a military-grade weapon and infiltration spy. As Amelia develops self-awareness, she rejects human control and targets people connected to her creation. The trailer establishes that setup; it does not reveal the full outcome of the conflict.
Why is M3GAN back, and what does the trailer show?
Gemma and Cady bring M3GAN back and give her a new body and upgrades so she can confront Amelia. That reversal shifts the premise: the technology behind the first film’s rogue android has produced a new threat, and M3GAN is now positioned as the weapon against it.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The trailer pairs the android conflict with action-heavy set pieces, including images of a flying M3GAN. Those shots sell the upgraded character and the sequel’s action scale, but the trailer alone does not establish every detail of how or when those moments occur in the film.
What does “Hold on to your vaginas” mean in the trailer?
It is a line spoken by M3GAN, voiced by Jenna Davis, during a late action sequence in the trailer. The transcript places it at approximately 02:22. It is a deliberately irreverent joke within the trailer, not a review, a statement from an actor, or a summary of the film’s ending.
