What is Get Outta My Swamp?
It is a body wash in a slime-like format, inspired by Shrek’s swamp. LUSH UK’s product page lists fresh wheatgrass juice, glycerin, cornstarch, xanthan gum, pine, vetivert, peppermint and cocoa extract among its ingredients. How to use it
- Scoop some slime onto wet skin.
- Work it into a gentle lather.
- Rinse it off.

Which products does LUSH South Africa announce?
LUSH South Africa frames the collaboration with DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek franchise around a deliberately unpolished “swamp aesthetic.” Its announcement describes a limited-edition collection exclusive to South Africa and says it is “coming soon.” The announcement does not give a confirmed launch date.

The LUSH UK collection page presents a separate regional listing and says shoppers may have missed the limited-edition products. It calls its assortment a seven-goodie limited edition, although the page currently displays eight entries: Herbalism Cleanser, Grass Shower Gel, Posh Chocolate Body Wash, 4:20pm Perfume, Get Outta My Swamp Shower Slime, By Night One Way, By Day Another Body Spray, Fiona Shower Gel and Donkey Bath Bomb. The page’s item count and availability can vary; it is not a reliable count for the South African collection. The UK slime page is also marked archived, so its older availability language should not be treated as proof of current stock.
Japan’s 2024 release
LUSH Japan announced a separate six-product collaboration for 2024, with online release scheduled for April 9 and app early access on April 8. It also announced a special Shrek label for Power Mask SP at 78 stores. Those were Japan-specific release details published on April 1, 2024, not dates or product counts for other markets. The collaboration’s appeal
LUSH South Africa presents the range as playful self-care built around Shrek’s swamp setting rather than a polished spa look. The company attributes the collaboration to a connection between the film’s enduring appeal and self-acceptance. Melody Morton, Creative Concepts Director at LUSH, said: “I love how Shrek is a family film I enjoyed when I was in my teens and now my own teenager loves all the meme culture of Shrek today. It’s a classic film that celebrates self-love and was an obvious fit for a Lush collaboration. It’s earthy and fun and perfect for some swampy self care,”
