Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear play coaches in the story, which pairs the team’s underdog season with a serious illness affecting one player’s family.
What is You Gotta Believe about?
The film follows the 2002 Westside Little League team from Fort Worth, Texas, as its players make an unlikely run to the Little League World Series. In Well Go USA’s official synopsis, the team dedicates its season to a teammate’s ailing father before reaching what the distributor calls a “record-breaking showdown” and an “instant ESPN classic.” The synopsis does not identify a specific record or provide a number.
