The article said the purpose of the meeting was unclear. Its headline’s “close and cuddly” description should not be read as proof of a romantic relationship or any other private connection; the report provides no evidence for those conclusions.
What later coverage does—and does not—add
Later profiles place both women in television-related coverage, but do not explain the 2024 meeting. An ABC interview published on 26 September 2026 discussed Morris’s career after changes to the Australian I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! format, her role in Class Clowns, and Channel 10’s decision not to commission a 13th season. A Channel 4 press pack dated 28 April 2026 identified Light as a participant in Celebs Go Dating 2026 and quoted her on dating and her career. It mentions that she was writing a book but does not name it. See the Channel 4 press pack. Neither item supplies information about why Light and Morris met.
