Leo Braudy says he talked about his family’s art business on Love Is Blind because it is part of who he is and something a future spouse might be involved in. He also acknowledged that he may have brought it up more often than he realized. The interview does not independently establish his wealth or the size or details of the business.
Why Leo says he brought up the business
In an interview with PEOPLE published October 2, 2024, as Love Is Blind season 7 began releasing, Leo addressed viewers’ discussion of how often he mentioned being an art dealer and his financial status. He said, “I really didn’t feel like I spoke about it that much. Maybe I spoke about it more than I thought I did.”
He described the conversations as an effort to be authentic and to talk about his family. “And for me, continuing on my family’s business is something I am proud of,” he told PEOPLE. He added that a partner could be affected by that commitment: “Business is a real part of what someone would be involved in, so it was relevant conversations.”
That is Leo’s explanation for why the subject mattered to him; it does not independently confirm his financial standing or business circumstances.

What the interview does—and doesn’t—establish
The PEOPLE feature reports the online reaction to Leo’s repeated references to his job and self-described financial status, but it gives no independently sourced net-worth estimate, income figure, business records, or detailed account of the company. It does not verify claims about inheritance, art sales, or the business’s scale. Those details should not be treated as established facts on the basis of this interview.
Leo also responded to the online criticism, saying, “If people on the internet come after me, it is what it is…. I don’t think people mean half the stuff they say on the internet anyway, so I think it’s okay!”
What does an art dealer do?
The interview does not offer a definition of Leo’s work or detail his day-to-day responsibilities. It identifies him as an art dealer and discusses his family’s business, but it does not establish what kinds of art the business handles, how it operates, or what role Leo plays in it. The article’s playful staff comments are not a professional definition.
