Full spoilers for the Love Is Blind: Season 8 reunion. The biggest revelations were Virginia Miller and Devin Buckley’s clash over core values, Monica Danús learning Joey Leveille had messaged Madison Errichiello after filming, and Madison bringing text messages to her confrontation with Alex Brown. The reunion also delivered a surprise engagement announcement from Season 6 alum AD Smith and Love Is Blind: UK alum Ollie Sutherland.
Virginia and Devin’s split came down to core values
Virginia said she and Devin had formed an emotional connection, but were not aligned on important issues. “But we just were not in alignment on some really important things,” she said. She described supporting LGBTQ people, believing women should be able to choose whether to have an abortion, and valuing different religions. Netflix’s reunion recap also reports that Virginia said she found a note from one of Devin’s former flames near his bedside shortly before their wedding.

These were Virginia’s claims and account of their relationship on the reunion stage; the episode recap does not independently verify them or settle every disagreement between the two.
Monica said Joey had DM’d Madison after filming
Monica said she had only recently learned that Joey had sent Madison a direct message after filming, and that the news made her question whether she could trust him. Madison said she had never been interested in Joey and disputed the account that she had been “all over him” at bars after the show. The reunion presented their competing accounts, not an independently established explanation of what happened.

In Netflix’s later cast update, published December 4, 2025, Monica said she had thought she and Joey might try dating after filming, but that he later said he wanted to be friends. She connected that disappointment, along with his interactions with Madison, to feeling disrespected.
Madison brought texts to the pod love-square confrontation
Madison confronted Alex and other cast members involved in the overlapping pod relationships, then displayed text messages. Netflix’s recap says Madison claimed Alex had called Mason “weird.” The recap does not independently authenticate the messages or resolve all the competing accounts, so the texts are best understood as the evidence Madison chose to present during the exchange—not a complete, verified record of every dispute.

Madison closed with a joke about the messages she had brought: “I do have more,” she said, “but that’s all I could fit in my armpit.”
AD and Ollie announced they were engaged
AD Smith, from Season 6, and Ollie Sutherland, from Love Is Blind: UK, revealed that they were a couple and had met on Perfect Match. During a promotional shoot, Ollie proposed and AD accepted. Us Weekly also reported the reunion engagement announcement in its March 10, 2025 recap.
The reunion also looked back at the franchise and ahead to Season 9
A fan-voted ranking of the franchise’s top five moments placed Jessica’s breakup speech to Jimmy at number one. Netflix’s recap did not publish vote totals or percentages. The reunion also announced that Season 9 would be set in Denver, Colorado.

The reunion streamed on Netflix on March 9, 2025, according to Us Weekly’s recap the following day. It revisited the season’s five engaged couples: Taylor and Daniel were the married couple, while the other four engaged pairs also discussed their relationships. Netflix’s December 2025 cast update offers later reflections from Virginia, Devin, and Monica; those comments provide retrospective context, rather than a guarantee of anyone’s current relationship status.
In that later update, Virginia described her conflict with Devin as a matter of core values and acceptance. Devin said he wished he had been more open about his political views. Their comments add perspective to the reunion disagreement without making the two accounts identical.
