Louise Glover’s reported move from modeling and a stay at Hugh Hefner’s mansion to living in a tent was described in an October 2024 news report. A May 2025 follow-up reported that she was still homeless and seeking money toward a houseboat. Neither report establishes where she is living today: as of October 8, 2026, her circumstances after May 2025 are not confirmed by the sources cited here.
What was reported about Louise Glover living in a tent?
In a report published October 3, 2024, PerthNow’s Morgan de Smidt said Glover had set up camp in a small tent on a farm after struggling to afford rent. The article attributed the explanation to Glover, who described rent increases and housing costs alongside a gradual decline in work. Those details are her account as reported by the outlet, not an independently verified financial or housing record.
PerthNow also quoted Glover saying, “It’s crazy how something I’ve normalised, been doing and getting on with for months, has now gone viral.” She described the broader issue this way: “This is about the cost of living and housing crisis, the story is bigger than me.” Her account illustrates her reported experience; it does not by itself establish the scale or causes of homelessness in the UK.

How did she go from modeling to personal training?
PerthNow reported that Glover began modeling at about 20, later modeled for Playboy and stayed at Hugh Hefner’s mansion, where she attended parties with celebrities. A stay at the mansion is not evidence that she lived there permanently. Her recollection of that period, as quoted by PerthNow, was: “It was the best time, like another world.”

The report said a health scare in 2010 prompted her to reconsider her career and that she later began working as a personal trainer. It did not establish a diagnosis or provide a basis for making a more specific medical claim. PerthNow quoted her saying: “I’d love to do presenting and I still do bits of promo work but I refuse to do anything pornographic.”
PerthNow reported that Glover had made almost $1,500 a day at the height of her career. That is a peak-earnings figure reported by the outlet, not a verified record of her income over time or evidence that she had sustained wealth.

What did the May 2025 follow-up say?
RadarOnline reported on May 13, 2025, that Glover remained homeless and was seeking roughly $10,000 through GoFundMe toward buying a houseboat. The outlet said her tent cost $65 and quoted her describing plans to return to personal training and dog walking once she was settled in one area. These are claims in that follow-up; it does not verify whether the campaign reached its target or whether she obtained a houseboat.

The latest update cited here is RadarOnline’s May 2025 account. It does not establish Glover’s housing status after publication, so it would be inaccurate to state that she is currently living in a tent, remains broke, or bought a houseboat. Hindustan Times also published secondary coverage of the 2024 account, describing the farm as being in rural Reading, but it did not provide a later verified update.
