Lollapalooza’s final day in Chicago was Sunday, August 4, 2024. The preview expected both headlining sets to run until the 10 p.m. curfew. That was a pre-event expectation, not confirmation of their actual end times. Blink-182’s listed start was 15 minutes after Martinez’s, but the schedule information does not establish how long it took to walk between stages or whether a transfer was practical. The sets were concurrent headliner choices, not two full performances a fan could count on seeing one after the other.
Who else performed on Lollapalooza’s final day?
WBEZ’s Day Four coverage documents performances by Teddy Swims, SiR, Nico Vega, Hanabie. and The Last Dinner Party, among others. WBEZ described SiR’s set as soulful and lyrical; that is the outlet’s characterization, not a survey of audience opinion. How did Day Four fit into Lollapalooza 2024?
The Chicago festival ran August 1–4 in Grant Park, with more than 170 artists slated across eight stages over the four days, according to Time Out Chicago’s 2024 schedule guide. The festival covered a range of genres, including alternative rock, hip-hop and electronic dance music. The figure of more than 170 applies to the full festival, not Sunday alone.
Time Out Chicago also described Lollapalooza as typically drawing more than 100,000 attendees a day, but that general description is not a verified attendance total for the 2024 festival.
