In June 2024, Liv Morgan brought the viral “Hawk Tuah” phrase into a WWE house-show moment, joking about her Women’s World Championship belt. Contemporary coverage placed the gag alongside her on-screen rivalry involving Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley, but the report describes a live-event appearance—not a confirmed scripted or televised segment.
What Liv Morgan said about her championship belt
Cageside Seats reported on June 23, 2024, that the moment happened the previous night during a WWE house-show run. According to the outlet’s account, when asked how she was feeling, Morgan said: “Oh, I feel so good. I just gotta give this thing that good ol’ hawk tuah, spit on this thang, and we’re good to go.” The report identifies “this thing” as her Women’s World Championship belt, then says she spun it, laughed, and left. That wording is the outlet’s attributed account of the exchange, not an official WWE transcript. The available reports do not establish the house-show location or identify the belt as a retail replica.
How the joke fit Morgan’s 2024 WWE story
Sporting News described Morgan’s clip as recreating the viral phrase with a championship belt and situated it amid her pursuit of Dominik Mysterio and effort to disrupt Rhea Ripley’s position in The Judgment Day. That is the outlet’s framing of the clip’s storyline context, rather than evidence that WWE presented the house-show exchange as a formal angle. Sporting News

WWE’s profile retrospectively describes Morgan’s 2024 return as the “Liv Morgan Revenge Tour,” saying she took Dominik Mysterio from Ripley and took Ripley’s place in The Judgment Day. The broader character story helps explain why a cheeky, attention-getting belt gag resonated with that period of Morgan’s on-screen persona. WWE’s Liv Morgan profile

The meme reference belongs to 2024; WWE’s story has since moved on. In its October 5, 2026 Raw recap, WWE says Stephanie Vaquer intervened during a No. 1 contender match between Morgan and Becky Lynch and announced a Triple Threat title match with both challengers at Money in the Bank. That later development is separate from the house-show joke. WWE Raw results, October 5, 2026
