Liv Morgan kissed Dominik Mysterio on the May 27, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw, after she retained the Women’s World Title against Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match. Mysterio had meant to help Lynch, but Braun Strowman shoved him into the cage door, which struck Lynch and helped Morgan escape.
What happened on Raw?
Morgan was defending the Women’s World Title in her first Steel Cage Match. During the bout, Dominik Mysterio tried to help Lynch by opening the cage door. Braun Strowman shoved Mysterio into it, and the door hit Lynch. Morgan used the opening to escape the cage and retain her championship. WWE described Mysterio’s help to Morgan as inadvertent.
After the match, Morgan kissed Mysterio. The moment turned his accidental role in her victory into a new on-screen story beat: Morgan was showing interest in him. WWE’s May 27, 2024 Raw recap documents the match and kiss.
How the storyline developed
June 3, 2024: the flirtation continues
On the following week’s Raw, WWE presented an awkward interaction and continued Morgan’s flirtation with Mysterio. The episode’s recap is available in WWE’s June 3 results.

July 22, 2024: Dominik and Rhea Ripley reunite
WWE later described Mysterio and Rhea Ripley as rekindling their relationship after Mysterio broke Morgan’s heart. This was a subsequent development in the television storyline, not evidence about the performers’ private lives. See WWE’s July 22, 2024 Raw recap.
Was this a recent Raw moment?
No. The kiss took place in 2024. WWE’s October 5, 2026 Raw recap gives separate, later context for Morgan and Lynch: their No. 1 Contender’s Match ended in a no-contest after Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer attacked both, and Vaquer set a triple-threat title match for Money in the Bank. That 2026 development should not be confused with, or treated as a direct continuation of, the kiss angle. WWE’s October 5, 2026 recap lists viewing outlets, but availability varies by territory and service.
