Why did Zach and Tori leave Little People, Big World?
In February 2024, Zach and Tori announced they were done filming after 25 seasons. Tori said, “We are done. That part of our lives, that chapter has closed.” Zach cited strain involving family dynamics and a farm deal, saying, “This last cycle was rough between the family, the farm deal, and we were done with it.” They also referred to setting boundaries around filming their children and frustration with how their lives were depicted. These reasons were reported by ABC News on February 23, 2024.
The show debuted in 2006, according to ABC News. TLC’s official show page describes the series and lists season 25 episodes. The sources here establish Zach and Tori’s departure, not that the series as a whole formally ended.

What happened to Jacob after he left the show?
TV Insider reports that Jacob left the series in 2016, at age 18, after publicly objecting to continuing as a character in a filmed version of his family. He later returned to work at Roloff Farms alongside family members.
In reporting published September 28, 2026, Jacob criticized aspects of farm management, including what he described as limited financial transparency, workload, and priorities. Those are Jacob’s allegations as reported by TV Insider, not independently verified findings. The article also reported that he said he likely would not remain beyond January after the 2026 pumpkin season. That was a stated intention at the time of publication, not evidence that he has since left.
Are the Roloff siblings still close?
There is no single public account that establishes how every sibling views the family today. In June 2025, Zach said his relationship with Molly was “pretty good,” his relationship with Jacob was “decent,” and sibling relationships were “melting”—his description of an improving period. He and Tori described their relationship with Zach’s father, Matt, as limited. Those remarks, reported by Parade on June 23, 2025, are Zach’s account and should not be treated as a statement from all the siblings.
