What is season 3 about?
Paramount describes season 3 as a global espionage story in which “hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide.” Joe faces threats that increasingly reach into her personal life, while Kaitlyn Meade and Donald Westfield guide her through the conflict. The official synopsis frames the season around the pressure between Joe’s duty and home life; it does not establish further mission or episode details.
The series is inspired by a real U.S. military program. Paramount describes it as following Joe, a CIA operative, as she tries to balance her personal life with her role in the war on terror. That premise is the show’s framing, not a claim that its specific storylines are documentary accounts of real events.
