Linkin Park announced Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023) in February 2024 and released it on April 12, 2024. The 20-track retrospective gathers selected songs from across the band’s catalog, along with “Friendly Fire” and “QWERTY.” It was described by Warner Records at the time as the band’s first career-spanning greatest-hits album.
When was Papercuts announced and released?
Warner Music Ireland announced the collection on February 23, 2024, and Warner Records said it arrived April 12, 2024. The album’s title identifies its span as 2000–2023. Warner Records called it Linkin Park’s first career-spanning greatest-hits album in its announcement; that was the label’s description at the time, not a claim that it remains the band’s latest release. Linkin Park released From Zero later in 2024, followed by a deluxe edition in 2025.
Mike Shinoda described the selection in the February 23 announcement: “From our first release ‘One Step Closer’ to the brand-new ‘Friendly Fire,’ this tracklist spans all our chapters so far.” Warner Music Ireland’s announcement
