Her post, reproduced by POST Wrestling, said she signed “just yesterday,” indicating October 20. The announcement did not disclose financial terms, a formal contract end date or a guaranteed appearance schedule.
What Garcia announced
Garcia shared the news in a message marking one year since her return to WWE. She described announcing on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Saturday Night’s Main Event and Worlds Collide, and said she had continued singing and announcing in Spanish. She then wrote: “Which is why I am so excited to announce that just yesterday, I signed on for another TWO YEARS with WWE!!!!” POST Wrestling reproduced her announcement on October 21, 2025.
The signing date of October 20 is inferred from “just yesterday” and the report’s publication date; it is not a date stated in a contract document. Garcia announced a two-year term, but the available reporting does not establish how WWE calculates that term or provide a specific expiration date.
What is—and is not—known about the deal
The public announcement establishes the extension’s duration and Garcia’s description of her work in the preceding year. It does not publish compensation, options, detailed contractual duties or a required weekly schedule. Her list of shows and activities is her account of that year, not a published list of binding contract obligations.

Garcia’s WWE career in context
WWE’s biography identifies Garcia as a ring announcer, singer and podcaster, and says she joined the company in 1999. WWE also credits her as the first woman to announce at WrestleMania. WWE’s biography notes that her albums ¡Quiero Vivir! and My Time were released in 2007 and 2012, respectively.
Her 2025 extension follows a distinct earlier return. WWE announced that after a hiatus of more than two years, Garcia would return full-time as SmackDown’s ring announcer. The company said she had debuted as a Raw ring announcer in August 1999 and retired in September 2009 after her ten-year anniversary. Those earlier milestones describe her original WWE tenure and subsequent return, not the start date or terms of the new extension. WWE’s return announcement provides that career timeline.

Does the extension mean Garcia will appear every week?
No weekly schedule was announced. Garcia’s 2025 message named several WWE shows on which she had worked during the previous year, but that does not establish a recurring commitment. A July 2026 TV Insider report said she announced a one-night return to NXT on July 14 and described her appearances since the extension as irregular. That later account documents an appearance, not a permanent schedule.
