It later appeared as the fifth track on their ten-song self-titled album, released March 1, 2024.
When did “Just Another Rainbow” come out?
The single was released on January 5, 2024. Warner Music Ireland announced the collaboration two days earlier, describing it as Gallagher and Squire’s first single together and saying more music would follow during 2024. Apple Music lists it as a one-song alternative release under ℗ 2024 Warner Music UK Limited.
Warner’s announcement described Squire’s guitar motif as “psychedelia-tinged” and said it leads into a classic Gallagher vocal. That is the label’s description, rather than a neutral critical consensus. Warner Music Ireland’s single announcement and Apple Music’s release listing document the date and format.
How does the single fit into the album?
“Just Another Rainbow” became track five on the duo’s self-titled debut album, released March 1, 2024. The single date and album date are separate releases, nearly two months apart.

What did the artists say about the record?
In Warner’s album announcement, Gallagher said he expected listeners who like the Stone Roses and Oasis to enjoy the album, calling it “spiritual” and “crucial.” Squire said that the Knebworth gigs were fresh in his mind as he began writing, and that he then tried to keep the songs from being “all too rocky” while varying their sentiments. The announcement attributes these remarks to the artists without assigning separate job titles to them.
