Leviathan by Francis Girola is a specialist mentalism ebook, not evidence of real telepathy or precognition. Retailer descriptions outline routines involving a thought-of word, guided word associations, prediction, and a book-test variation. The sellers also warn that the material is aimed at experienced mentalists who already know ways to obtain secret information.
What is Leviathan by Francis Girola?
Leviathan is listed by magic retailers as a digital ebook or download. Penguin Magic describes it as a DRM-protected ebook; MindFX and Vanishing Inc. also list a downloadable ebook. Its format and availability may change, so check the retailer’s current listing before buying.
The product is intended for performers studying mentalism: stage or close-up magic presented as though a performer can discern or predict a thought. References to telepathy and precognition describe the apparent effect or theatrical framing, not a demonstrated paranormal ability.
What routines do the listings describe?
Retailer descriptions say the material explores ways to reveal or predict a participant’s thought-of word. The described effects include:

- A thought-of word: A participant thinks of a word, which the performer attempts to reveal.
- Word association: The performer guides a chain of associations toward an outcome that can be revealed or predicted.
- A book-test variation: A participant selects a word from a book, which becomes part of the mentalism presentation.
These are sellers’ summaries of performance effects; they do not independently establish how well a routine works in practice. Although a book test is mentioned, the listings do not identify a particular book or establish that a specific physical item is required.
Who is the ebook for?
Penguin Magic and Vanishing Inc. both say the manuscript is primarily for experienced mentalists who already have methods for obtaining a secret piece of information. That prerequisite matters: the descriptions do not present Leviathan as a complete beginner’s guide to learning mentalism or as a self-contained way to gain such methods.

- 50+ easy street magic tricks – Learn visual close-up effects designed for performing for friends, family, and small groups.
- Cards, coins, levitation and mind reading – Explore several popular styles of street and close-up magic in one kit.
- Beginner-friendly learning – Clear instructions and online video tutorials help new magicians learn and perform with confidence.
- 16-piece magic set – Includes specially selected props for a variety of close-up and street magic effects.
- Your kit has a Welcome letter inside with a link to a secret website with instructional videos and bonus material. Be sure to type the link in exactly as it appears, including capital letters, etc. Hope to see you there!
It is a more plausible fit for a performer who already has an approach to secretly learning information and wants routines built around thought-of words, association, prediction, or a book-test presentation. A newcomer without that foundation may find the stated prerequisite a poor match.
Is Leviathan a PDF, and what should buyers check?
The retailers identify it as a digital ebook or download, but their listings do not establish that every version is specifically a PDF. Penguin Magic describes its version as DRM-protected. Confirm the file type, access requirements, and delivery terms on the chosen retailer’s current page before ordering.

Does it require props or a particular book?
The reliable retailer descriptions mention a book-test routine but do not specify a required title, peek wallet, business cards, or other physical prop. Do not assume that a particular prop is included or necessary based only on the general effect description; check the seller’s listing for the edition you intend to buy.

What do the testimonials establish?
Vanishing Inc. attributes this promotional testimonial to Steve Palmer: “To sum it up: If simply revealing a thought-of word is a crime, then Leviathan is a simple yet very powerful cure.” It is an endorsement presented by the seller, not independent evidence of the ebook’s quality or the effectiveness of its routines.
