The LEGO Minas Tirith set is no longer just a leak: LEGO officially announced set 11377 on May 12, 2026. The confirmed model has 8,278 pieces, combines microscale and minifigure-scale building, and was announced with regional launch prices and a June 2026 release schedule.
What was leaked—and what LEGO confirmed
Early reports about a LEGO Minas Tirith build have since been superseded by LEGO’s official announcement. The product is LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, set 11377, developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. LEGO announced it on May 12, 2026, as part of its 25th Anniversary Legacy Collection. LEGO’s announcement is the primary source for the set’s confirmed specifications.
What the set includes
A mixed-scale model
The 8,278-piece build combines microscale architecture with minifigure-scale areas. LEGO says the model includes key locations such as the citadel and throne room. This hybrid approach lets the city read as a large display model while preserving character-scale spaces.
Named characters
LEGO names Gandalf the White, Aragorn as King Elessar, and Faramir among the characters included. The announcement describes the set as designed for adult fans and collectors.
