Where was Le Dîner en Blanc Perth in 2022?
The seventh Perth edition was held at Russell Square in Northbridge. The venue was kept secret until the afternoon of Saturday, 19 November 2022; guests were told the location one hour before the dinner began at 4 pm, PerthNow reported. The reveal turned the square into a temporary outdoor dining scene in the middle of the city.
What did the event look like?
Attendees followed an all-white dress code and brought their own gourmet picnic, fine china, silverware, white table settings, tables and chairs. Live electric strings and a French piano accordion welcomed guests. A traditional wave of napkins marked the official start of dinner.
Event host Caroline James described the public reveal as a “wow-factor” pop-up picnic and said dressing in white for a French-style dinner had become a treasured ritual for thousands of West Australians. Those remarks were her characterization of the event, as quoted by PerthNow.

How the secret-location format works
Event producer Atelier House of Events describes Le Dîner en Blanc as a worldwide pop-up picnic at a secret, iconic venue, with the site disclosed close to the event. Its portfolio lists Russell Square as the Perth venue in 2022 and describes production responsibilities including venue selection, event design, transport logistics, food and beverage coordination, ticket sales, public relations and risk management.
The portfolio says guest transport logistics covered 20 departure points. That figure is the producer’s description of its operations, not an attendance or venue statistic. The portfolio also lists categories of event partners, but does not establish that any particular partner or offer is current.
