How “Dirty Water” became the Standells’ signature hit
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that “Dirty Water” reached No. 11 on the Billboard charts in July 1966. The figure is attributed here to the newspaper; the original Billboard chart record was not available in the cited coverage.
What was reported about his cause of death?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on March 27, 2025, that Tamblyn died from a rare blood disorder. A March 24 report by Rolling Stone Australia said no cause had been provided at that time.
