What happened to Lari White?
White died on January 23, 2018, in Nashville, according to MusicRow’s obituary published that day. It reported that she was 52. The Des Moines Register obituary hosted by Legacy.com reported that White had advanced peritoneal cancer, diagnosed in September 2017, and entered hospice shortly before her death.
Why is “Now I Know” associated with her?
“Now I Know” was one of White’s prominent RCA country hits. It appeared on Wishes, her 1994 album, alongside “That’s My Baby” and “That’s How You Know (When You’re in Love),” according to MusicRow and the Nashville Scene.
The song also appears in an individual memorial comment. One commenter wrote that it helped them through “a terrible piece of my life.” That testimony conveys a personal connection; it should not be taken as a measure of the song’s wider audience or impact. The comment is on White’s Legacy.com memorial page.

What else did Lari White do in music?
Songwriting
White was a songwriter as well as a recording artist. MusicRow noted that other artists recorded songs she wrote, including Tammy Wynette, Wynonna Judd, and others. Her work as a writer was a separate part of her career from the RCA hits that brought her recognition as a performer.
Record production
White also produced records. The Nashville Scene’s 2018 music in memoriam names production work for Toby Keith, Billy Dean, and Shawn Mullins.

Acting and label ownership
