Has Landman been renewed for season 3?
Yes. Paramount+ announced the renewal on December 5, 2025. The announcement also said season 2 premiered on November 16, 2025. Paramount+’s renewal announcement reported more than 9.2 million streaming views for the season 2 premiere in its first two days, 262% higher than the season 1 premiere. Those are platform-reported figures, not independently audited totals in the sources reviewed.
When does Landman season 3 come out?
Paramount+ has not announced a season 3 premiere date. Its October 1, 2026 production announcement confirms that filming has begun but gives no release timing. The two previous seasons premiered on November 17, 2024, and November 16, 2025, respectively, according to the Paramount+ season 3 guide. Those dates are precedent, not a confirmed schedule for season 3; an annual November release should not be treated as official.

Paramount+’s October 1 production notice names the following cast members for season 3:

The same announcement says Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Menuez and Francesca Xuereb have been promoted to series regulars. Michael Kelly had been announced earlier as a season 3 series regular playing William Crockett, described by Paramount as the leader of the world’s largest oil management firm. This is the cast named in Paramount’s season 3 announcements; it should not be read as confirmation that every performer from season 2 will return.
What will season 3 be about?
Paramount+ has not released a season 3 synopsis or confirmed story arc in the official material reviewed. The series is set among the roughnecks and oil executives of West Texas boomtowns. Paramount describes it as a modern story of fortune-seeking against the wider effects of an oil boom on climate, the economy and geopolitics. That series-wide framing provides context, but it does not confirm what season 3’s plot will cover.

How many episodes will season 3 have?
The season 3 episode count has not been announced. Season 1 had 10 episodes, but that does not establish the length of the new season.
