En una entrevista atribuida a Agencia Mezcalent, Venegas afirmó: “No parí en hospital, parí en casa, se lo recomiendo a todas las mujeres los métodos clásicos. Parir en casa es de los más clásico que hay”. People en Español publicó la declaración el 28 de octubre de 2010 y situó la entrevista en la alfombra roja de los Premios Lunas del Auditorio. People en Español también informó que la cantante había regresado al espacio público dos meses después del nacimiento.
¿Qué informó la prensa en ese momento?
Al día siguiente, Quién publicó una versión coincidente y atribuyó a Venegas estas palabras: “Tuve a mi bebé en mi casa y no en un hospital, el asunto es que quisimos despistar un poco a la prensa”.
