Elizabeth Gutiérrez describió su evolución de belleza como un cambio de confianza y de preferencias: en 2017 recordó que antes no salía de casa sin maquillaje y dijo que ahora se sentía mejor al natural. Sus fotos también muestran distintas etapas de cabello, del rubio habitual a tonos castaños y morenos. 2017: menos maquillaje y más confianza
En una entrevista publicada por People en Español el 12 de mayo de 2017, Gutiérrez resumió el cambio así: “He evolucionado definitivamente. Ahora entiendo que menos es más”. Recordó que antes no salía de casa sin maquillarse y que había aprendido que “definitivamente te vez mejor a lo natural”. La cita conserva la redacción publicada por la revista.
La actriz conectó esa preferencia con sentirse cómoda consigo misma. También recordó que de niña se sentía incómoda por su estatura y delgadez, y dijo que había ganado seguridad: “Yo creo que lo más importante es sentirte bien en tu propia piel, sentirte segura. Cuando irradias esa seguridad, te vez hasta más bella”. Son reflexiones personales expresadas en esa entrevista, no una evaluación de su apariencia ni una afirmación de que sus rasgos necesitaran cambiar.
La rutina facial que contó en 2017
En otra entrevista de People en Español, publicada el 13 de abril de 2017, Gutiérrez dijo: “No puedo vivir sin mi rutina de belleza”. La rutina que describió incluía limpiador y tónico, humectante, protector solar y crema para ojos. La cobertura también indicó que acababa de lanzar la línea de cuidado de la piel Ely Cassia Cardoso.

Cabello: del rubio habitual a tonos castaños y morenos
Una galería editorial de Univision presenta el rubio como un color habitual en la imagen pública de Gutiérrez y muestra momentos en que llevó tonos castaños claros y el cabello moreno. Las imágenes sirven para ver variaciones de estilo, pero la página no fija una fecha exacta para el cambio a moreno ni demuestra que fuera permanente. Tampoco explica quién decidió el cambio o por qué.

2020: maquillaje sencillo y gusto por lo vintage
En una entrevista de 2020, Gutiérrez volvió a expresar su preferencia por un estilo natural. Al hablar de su hija y el maquillaje, dijo: “Le encanta experimentar con mi maquillaje, pero definitivamente entre más sencillo más lindo me parece, más natural, es lo que le he tratado siempre de inculcar”. La frase refleja el gusto que manifestó en ese momento, no una regla universal de belleza.

2025: una etapa empresarial relacionada con MONAT
En junio de 2025, People en Español informó que Gutiérrez anunció una nueva etapa empresarial vinculada con MONAT, descrita por la publicación como una empresa de belleza de venta directa y mercadeo en red. Es un dato posterior sobre su actividad comercial, no una prueba de que haya cambiado su rutina o sus preferencias estéticas. La nota tampoco permite tratar sus opiniones promocionales como una evaluación independiente de la marca.

El hilo más claro es el que ella misma trazó: en 2017 habló de dejar atrás la necesidad de maquillarse siempre y de sentirse más segura; en 2020 seguía describiendo como propio un estilo de maquillaje sencillo y natural. En paralelo, las fotografías documentan cambios de color de cabello, aunque no constituyen una cronología completa.
