It was released on October 18, 2024. The announcement also revealed the 2025 Tension Tour, which began in Australia in February and was scheduled to continue through Asia and the UK. The album is out and that tour is over; the original ticket-sale dates are historical, not a guide to current availability.
When did Tension II come out?
BMG announced the album on September 20, 2024, with a planned release date of October 18, 2024. The official Kylie store lists the album with that release date. BMG described it as a 13-song collection and a continuation of the Tension era. Minogue said in the announcement, “The Tension era has been so special to me … I can’t possibly let it be over just yet! Welcome to Tension II.” BMG’s announcement and the official store listing provide the announcement and product details.

What songs are on Tension II?
The standard CD listing has 13 tracks. BMG said nine were brand-new studio tracks and announced collaborations with The Blessed Madonna, Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo and Sia. The lead single, “Lights Camera Action,” was announced for September 27, 2024.

What were the Tension Tour dates?
Frontier Touring announced that the 2025 tour would open in Perth on February 15, continue to Asia and reach the UK in May. The promoter said additional countries and dates would be announced. Its initial Australian schedule named Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney; more Australian dates appeared in ABC News’ updated September 26, 2024 report. Because the reports reflect different announcement stages, the later report contains additions to the promoter’s initial list. Neither is a current tour calendar.
Minogue described the tour as a chance to celebrate the Tension era with fans around the world. The promoter’s announcement also laid out the original Australian ticket windows: presales began September 24, 2024, and general public sales were set for October 2, 2024. Those dates have passed and do not indicate present ticket availability.

How did the album perform in the UK?
BMG reported on October 28, 2024, that Tension II became Minogue’s tenth UK Number One album and her fifth consecutive UK Number One since signing with BMG in 2017. BMG’s chart announcement gives the label’s account of that milestone.
